For more than 30 years, Henry’s practice has focused on corporate acquisition and divestiture transactions, public and private company investment transactions, corporate entity structuring and restructuring transactions, and corporate governance matters. Henry also works closely with entrepreneurial and high-growth clients to develop effective financial and operational strategies, identify acquisitions, establish acquisition valuations, structure and negotiate acquisition terms. He holds the AV Preeminent (5.0 out of 5.0) Martindale-Hubbell rating from his peers in the legal profession. A native Dallasite, Henry has consistently dedicated time to high-level civic pursuits within the business community throughout his career. For over 10 years he has served on the Board of Directors of the Maverick Chapter of YPO Gold and served as Chapter Chair from 2017-2018. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Arboretum and is a former member of the Board of Directors of the North Texas Chapter of YPO, the Episcopal School of Dallas, the Thanksgiving Square Foundation as well as a number of other Dallas-based charitable enterprises.
Henry is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law. Prior to law school, he earned his undergraduate degree from Washington & Lee University, where he graduated with highest honors and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society.
